SALON POLICIES
Our policies are designed to maintain a smooth, professional, and respectful experience for every client. By booking with Keny Sleeks Braiding Salon, you agree to the terms below.
BOOKING
Appointments must be scheduled in advance to secure your preferred date and time. Early booking is recommended, especially for longer styles and weekends. Same-day appointments are subject to availability and may include an additional fee. Please provide accurate contact information when booking so we can confirm your appointment and share any updates if needed.
DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment and will be applied toward your total service cost. The remaining balance is due at the time of service. We accept cash and mobile payment apps. Payment must be completed before the service is considered finished.
CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in the loss of your deposit and may require a new deposit before another appointment can be booked. If you need to reschedule, please notify us as early as possible. Requests made too close to the appointment time may be treated as late cancellations.
LATE ARRIVALS
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrival may shorten your service time or require your appointment to be rescheduled or canceled, depending on the schedule. If you are running late, contact us as soon as possible.
NO-SHOWS
Clients who miss their appointment without notice may forfeit their deposit and may need to pay a new deposit before booking again.
HAIR PREPARATION
Unless otherwise arranged, clients should arrive with hair:
• washed
• dried
• detangled
• ready for braiding
If extra preparation is needed at the appointment, additional charges may apply.
HAIR EXTENSIONS
Keny Sleeks also offers hair extensions. If you need hair for your appointment, please let us know in advance so the right option can be recommended or prepared. Availability may vary depending on style, length, and finish. Removal of hair extensions is not included in the original service price.
TIGHT BRAIDS / ADJUSTMENTS
If you feel a braid is too tight, please let us know immediately and we will redo it right away. Please inspect your hair before leaving the salon. After three days, all corrections or changes will be subject to a charge. There are no refunds.
STYLE SELECTION
Please choose your style carefully. We cannot exchange styles unless there is an issue with the work completed by us. If you decide you do not like the style you selected, or there is an issue with the hair you purchased, full price will be charged for another service. We are happy to make suggestions, but the final style choice remains the client’s responsibility, and we will perform the service requested.
SHORT HAIR CONSULTATION
If your hair is shorter than 4 inches, please call for a consultation before booking so we can confirm whether we are able to service you. If we are unable to grip the hair at your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Please disclose any allergies, scalp sensitivities, or product concerns before service. Our tools and equipment are sanitized between clients for hygiene and safety. If you are allergic to certain products, you are welcome to bring your own.
Please note that synthetic hair may cause allergic reactions. If an allergic reaction occurs, Keny Sleeks Hair Braiding and its employees will not be held responsible. If you decide not to keep the extensions after service has started, you remain responsible for payment for services rendered.
TRAVEL FEE
A travel fee may apply for mobile appointments outside our standard service area.
GUESTS & CHILDREN
To help maintain a comfortable appointment environment, extra guests may be limited unless approved in advance. Children should only attend if they are being serviced or if prior arrangements have been made. Any child brought to the appointment must remain supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
SALON COURTESY
Please use headphones for phone conversations, videos, or music while in the salon.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
Keny Sleeks Braiding Salon reserves the right to refuse service in cases involving disrespectful behavior, repeated policy violations, unsafe conditions, or inappropriate conduct.
